Regency Retirement Village of Jackson Executive Director

Carol Wright

Carol Wright, LPN, has served as our Executive Director since November 2019. She brings 17 years of management, medical, and quality experience from her time in the plasma industry. Carol has a deep passion for caring for others, instilled by her mother from a young age. Her dedication ensures our residents receive the best quality of life, always aiming to bring smiles and make families feel welcome. Carol is committed to meeting the needs of each resident and staff member, reflecting the love and care that defines the Regency family.

 

Angie Arrington – Community Consultant

Angie Arrington has over 30 years of medical experience and has been with Regency since August 2019. She has a deep love and passion for the senior population and is wholeheartedly dedicated to serving our residents and their families, ensuring their needs are met with care and compassion.

 

Dr. Brandi Long Shaw – Community Chaplain

Minister Dr. Brandi Long Shaw, a native of Jackson, TN, joined Regency Retirement in February 2023 as the Community Chaplain. She is married to Sicarr Shaw, and they have two children, Ayden and Peyton. Brandi accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at age 10 and was called to preach the gospel at 38. She serves as an associate minister at Home Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor Willie Ray Boyle.

In her role, she loves spending one-on-one time with residents, sharing scripture, praying for their needs, and visiting those off-site. Dr. Brandi also practices optometry at Lifetime EyeCare in Jackson, providing both spiritual and physical sight. Outside of work, she enjoys time with family, playing with her dogs, relaxing on the beach, and visiting theme parks.

 

Elizabeth James – Activities Director

Elizabeth James, born and raised in Humboldt, Tennessee, is a proud mother of two and grandmother of four. With over 30 years in the healthcare field, she is known for her optimism, energy, and creativity.

Elizabeth is passionate about making people active and happy, and she loves reading and spending time with her family. She especially enjoys listening and talking to the elderly, finding joy in their stories and experiences.

 

Marshall Carter – Maintenance Director

Marshall Carter, married with three children, brings a diverse background to his role, including experience as an artist, children’s pastor, robotics specialist, electrical and plumbing engineer, and maintenance technician. He has a genuine love for serving others and is dedicated to addressing any repair and safety concerns at Regency.

Marshall’s extensive facility maintenance experience makes him a reliable resource for any maintenance needs. Don’t hesitate to reach out to him for assistance.

Shywanna Gray – Dietary Director

Shywanna Gray has been with Regency for 13 years, leading the dietary team with dedication and hard work. She ensures that three nutritious and delicious meals are served daily, with an ‘a la carte’ menu offering additional options for residents.

Each month, Shywanna holds a food service meeting with residents to gather feedback and address any dietary concerns, ensuring their satisfaction with our meal offerings.
