We had a wonderful time here at Regency celebrating the Fourth of July! Sylvia Livingston cooked up a huge feast for our assisted living residents, including ribs, barbecue, burgers, hot dogs, chicken, and all the fixins. Needless to say, it was a huge hit! Meanwhile, our memory care residents had a picnic! We also had a Fourth of July party with trivia, refreshments, and a photo booth. Such a fun time for everyone!

We had a very exciting event in Remembrance Village, as we were able to celebrate Charles and Janice Baldwin’s 59th anniversary. There was dancing and toasting, gifts, and lots of love. Horace Simmons even came back to play for the beautiful couple as they danced together. We were all blessed to be a part of their special day. As far as our activities, we have been staying busy! We’ve had lots of live music all month long from musicians and singers, exercise classes, bingo galore, and CORNHOLE. Our residents have gotten very serious about cornhole, and we are loving it! Sometimes it is the scheduled activity, but even in their spare time folks are getting out there and practicing their pitches and honing their aim. We will have to have a serious tournament very soon! Keep up the good work, y’all!
