Mardi Gras Celebration!
March 1st at 10:00 a.m.
We will begin at 10:00 a.m. by serving hot beignets in the Theater Room and talking about the history of Mardi Gras. Afterwards, we will take a virtual tour of New Orleans during Mardi Gras! At 12:30 p.m. we will begin our indoor Mardi Gras Parade through the halls of Regency, followed by Mardi Gras Bingo in the Cafe! It’s gonna be a day full of fun that you don’t want to miss!
Safari Park
March 8th at 12:30 p.m.
Start up the bus…we’re taking to the open road! Meet us at the front doors at 12:30 p.m. to begin loading the bus to head to the Safari Park in Alamo. We will leave at 1:00 p.m. for our afternoon safari. It will be a great time to see some beautiful animals, but also to sightsee and spend time with friends on the bus!
Garden Planting Party
March 11th at 9:30 a.m.
We will be meeting at the back patio at 9:30 a.m. to begin planting a fresh, new garden in the planter boxes. If you like to get your fingers in the dirt and haven’t had the chance to garden in a while, this is definitely for you! Let’s uncover those green thumbs and start planting!
Pi Day
March 14th
We will be celebrating all day with different types of pie in order to celebrate that crazy little neverending mathematical number! It’s going to be a fun-filled day of Pi activities, and delicious pizza pie for lunch, as well as sweet dessert pies to enjoy!
Tux the Trick Dog
March 15th at 12:30 p.m.
We will be meeting in the front lobby for a special time of entertainment by Tux the Trick Dog at 12:30 p.m.. Tux is specially trained with props for tricks, but is also a trained therapy dog. You don’t want to miss the show he will put on, as well as the love he will give!
St. Patrick’s Day Party
March 17th at 3:00 p.m.
Go ahead and break into your green wardrobe items, and start looking for that pot of gold! We are celebrating St. Patrick’s Day a little early! We will have a party to celebrate at 3:00 p.m. in the cafe. Perhaps we will even do an Irish jig before the day is through? Slainte!
Shopping Day
March 29th at 9:00 a.m.
The bus will begin loading at the front doors at 9:00 a.m., and will depart at 9:30 a.m. for Walmart. We will be back in time for lunch!
