This is exciting news for our staff and residents alike… We are starting up our Funtastic Fridays! Funtastic Friday
falls on the first Friday of every month, and is a great time to be creative, collaborate with friends, be silly, and
just have a good time! For the month of April, our Funtastic Friday falls on April Fools Day (April 1st), and the
theme is “Wacky Wardrobe Day.” So let’s have fun with this! Let’s get out our wackiest and wildest wardrobe and
get FUNTASTIC!
The Jackson Symphony
April 1st at 3:00 pm
We are so very excited to welcome back The Jackson Symphony to our community. Our first performance from them was a violin duet in March, which was absolutely beautiful. This time they are planning to send a brass grouping to us, which will be wonderful as well. Come join us in the front lobby on April 1st at 3:00 p.m. for this very special treat!
Election Day
April 8th at 9:30 am
The Election Commission will be at Regency Retirement Village on April 8th at 9:30 a.m. to give our residents an opportunity to get their votes in! This is a service provided to you so that you do not have to leave the community in order to cast your ballots. No matter where you normally had to go to vote, as a resident of Regency and a resident of Tennessee, you will be able to cast your vote with the election commission on April 8th. Please notify Aprille Roberts (Activities Director) if you are interested in voting!
Bus Trip to The Ned
April 12th at 12:30 pm
We will be taking a trip to The Ned McWherter Cultural Arts Center here in Jackson to view the Art Gallery on April 12th at 12:30. We will also stop at Yarbro’s Antiques on the way back to Regency.
Easter Family Fun Day
April 16th
On Saturday, April 16th, we will be hosting an Easter Family Fun Day at Regency to give our residents and their families an opportunity to be together on this wonderful weekend as we celebrate the resurrection of our Savior! We will start out with an Easter egg hunt, followed by gospel singing and refreshments. Come join us for a beautiful day with friends and family!
The Singing Painter
April 21st at 2:00 pm
Scott French, aka “The Singing Painter” will be returning to Regency on April 21st at 2:00 to perform for our residents in the front lobby. We hope that you will join us for this special time of music and ministry.
Shopping Trip
April 26th at 1:00 pm
We will be taking a shopping trip to Walmart in Humboldt on April 26th at 1:00. We will load the bus shortly after lunch at the front doors.
