Her husband Frank owned a plumbing company in Madison County and she worked at Union University for thirty years as a Student Body Nurse. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Jackson, Tennessee for years. Mrs. Boyd enjoys gardening, teaching Sunday school, and outdoor sports.
