Ms. Georgia was born and raised in Hardeman County in a family of fi ve girls and two boys. She met the love of her life, Mr. John Hillhouse, at a county fair in Cloverport. Mr. Hillhouse was in the U.S. Army at the time. The two married when he returned from the army and they moved to Jackson, Tennessee. They had two daughters together: Debbie and Lisa. She attended nursing school at Jackson Education Center in Jackson, TN, and worked for Jackson General Hospital for over thirty years as an LPN. Ms. Georgia and Mr. John were members of Antioch Baptist Church and they were married for seventy-four years. Ms. Georgia enjoys dancing and helping people in any way she can.
