My sister and I began exploring care options when our father became ill and our mother’s dementia began to progress. We visited several properties, but were blown away by both the facility and staff at Regency. The employees are warm and friendly, and the facility is tastefully decorated yet functional for aging adults. Our parents were both at Regency until our father passed away. Once again, the staff was so caring and helpful during that difficult period. I still have the beautiful plant that Regency sent to the funeral home and keep it in honor of Dad’s memory. Once it became clear that Mom needed additional assistance, we moved her into Regency’s memory care unit. The transition was seamless, and Mom is very well cared for. She is involved in activities and recreation that keep her happy and healthy. Seeing new faces can be difficult for a dementia patient, and we are grateful the same familiar nurses and aides we met years ago are still at Regency providing care.
The journey of finding care for elderly family members can be overwhelming; Regency has been able to make that process much easier. We know we made the right choice for Mom and Dad.
